Panasonic Blu-Ray Disc Player REVIEW Of The DMP-BD85K

My husband and I wanted to make the leap from just a DVD player to a Blu-Ray player, we were ready to replace our older Sony DVD Player which we had been given after my in-laws upgraded to a new Blu-Ray Player last year. We found ourselves in the market for a Blu-Ray Player after watching movies and blown away with the difference of quality with sound and audio from our simple DVD player.

We gravitated to the DMP-BD85K after we saw it on a 52″ t.v. at a local electronic store.

I though WOW and couldn’t believe the quality of picture and sound and decided to do some research and do a Panisonic Blu-Ray Disc Player Review.

After a bit of searching online it was clear that past and present customer reviews were better than good with most of their blu-ray player have a 4 or more rating consistently.

So based on those Panasonic Blu-Ray Disc Reviews we purchased the Panasonic DMP-BD85K We were also  pleasantly surprised at the price which had been just under $270.00 from Amazon.com  we thought this was a very reasonable for a brand new model, plus it was within our budget of under $300.00.

It arrived quickly, just 3 days actually, and we eagerly unpacked it.

We were able to set up and play movies within an hour, it took us a little longer, we were newbies to this and setting up everything.  Overall, it was pretty easy.

We weren’t looking so much for WIFI capabilities, but it was and has been an added bonus and we do enjoy watching NETFLIXS.

 

Things we did not Like

I liked everything about the blu-ray player, my husband was a bit disappointed that there was only play and stop on the player and fast forward or reverse.  Other than that there was nothing else we disliked.

Conclusion

Both my husband thought the DMP-BD85K  was a great Blu-Ray Player and I really liked the picture quality and audio we are thinking of buying another one for our living room.

After quite a bit of looking around we eventually purchased it from Amazon.com as they had the best price.

Value for money? The Panasonic DMP-BD85K we think offers excellent value for money especially and did I mention the picture & audio is awesome!
